Harvest season in Napa Valley is truly one of the most enchanting times to visit this celebrated wine country. Running from late August through October, this period bursts with vibrant energy as vineyards come alive with the joyous bustle of grape picking, cellar work, and countless celebrations.
The vibe at the end of harvest is more peaceful and reflective, perfect if you prefer a laid-back, authentic wine country visit with plenty of charm. Just keep in mind that specific winery activities related directly to picking may be finishing, so booking experiences that highlight tasting and tours is your best bet.
